'It is well', three simple words that grabbed my attention one day whilst reading the story of the Shunammite woman (2 Kings 4:26). She had such incredible strength and resolve in the midst of her great tragedy, yet she held fast to these words, 'it is well with my soul'. I have sung the song and felt these words lift my heart on many occasions. The strong spirit of a man sustains him in bodily pain is a great proverb, it speaks volumes revealing it's from the inside first, we grow our strength.
You may be in a battle, or at the end of your strength and need something more to hold onto. Through the next 40 days, I hope that each daily devotion inspires your faith, ignites your heart and anchors you to hope. It's the word of God like medicine to our souls, that illuminates, renews our minds and guides us on the path of healing and wellbeing. Daily as you read and meditate, receive your own revelation and insight from the key scriptures, I pray that you may prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers.
